Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. The child of Dennis Alan Taylor, a ex-bank executive, and Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist named Anya Taylor-Joy. She is an Argentinean of Scottish, English and Argentinean heritage. Her mother is Spanish-English. She was the first born of a clan with six kids. Four of them are siblings from the previous marriage to Taylor's father. Buenos Aires was her home up until she was six years old, when the family moved into Victoria within London. Taylor-Joy said the relocation was difficult and that she was unable to study English in the hope of be able to return to Argentina. The school she attended had to be changed to Northlands to Hill House. She then enrolled at Queen's Gate School, where she studied dance and performed in productions. At the age of 16 she left school to pursue a profession as an actress full time. Taylor-Joy has always known she wanted to be an actor. Her dream was granted a opportunity by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management, who offered her the opportunity to model.
