Alison Krauss

Alison Krauss has been a country singer for over 30 years. She was born in Decatur IL on the 23rd of July, 1971. LeAnn Kymes and she were among the youngest recipients of a Grammy Award. Alison Maria Krauss, born on July 23, 1971, is an American artist and performer. Her age was just teen when she began her journey into the music scene winning local competitions at the age of 10 old, and recorded her first album when she was fourteen years of age. She signed with Rounder Records in 1985 and made her debut self-titled album on the label in the year 1987. She joined the group with who she still performs, Alison Krauss Union Station. They released their first album in 1989.
