Simone Biles

Simone Biles, American gymnast (born 14 March 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.) She was regarded as one of the top athletes in sports. At the 2016 Olympics held in Rio de Janeiro she became the first female U.S. gymnast to win four gold medals in a single Games and she was the first gymnast to earn three consecutive world all-around titles (2013-15). Biles was raised within Spring Texas, in the Houston metro region. Her sister Adria had been adopted by Ronald Biles and Nellie Biles. Simone was introduced to the sport of gymnastics through her daycare teacher Aimee Borman at six years old. Biles stayed with Bannon's Gymnastix for eleven years. Biles earned a silver in vault in 2010 and a bronze medal at the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships. She then moved up to competitions at the elite level in the year 2011. Two years after that Biles had a dominating performance in the sport. Biles was distinguished by her consistently high performance and exuberant character, as well as the difficult routines she performed in each of the four events: vaulting, uneven bars and the balance beam.
