Harry Edward Styles (also known as Harry Styles in the music world) is a British music producer and musician and. Harry Styles was one of the original members of One Direction. Born at Holmes Chapel (Cheshire), England, on 1 February 1994, he is the son of Des Styles, and Anne Cox. Harry Styles went to the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive school, together with his fellow classmates, created a band group called White Eskimo. They won the 2009 Battle of Bands thanks to their excellent performance. Although he has always been interested in the music world but despite his enthusiasm in it, he also wanted to become a lawyer and an physiotherapist. To support the family he worked some time in a bakery. For the year 2010 Harry Styles presented audition for The X Factor where he sang Is not She Lovely by Stevie Wonder and was selected. The reason for this is that his band split. Nicole Scherzinger, the jury member of The X Factor suggested Harry Styles join a band called One Direction with Liam Payne Zayn Mlik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne. The creation of the group was a fact in 2010, and the five youngsters were funded by Simon Cowell. The group performed Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would Be Sucky without You and Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart during the contest, which made them one of the leading contenders to win the contest. The band was in the third position behind Rebecca Ferguson and Matt Cardle, who won. Harry Styles, his group as well as Cowell did not win the competition. However, Cowell gave Harry Styles a 2 million pounds contract with Syco.
