Amber Benson bio

Amber Benson is a talented American actor who has performed as a writer, singer producer, director, and writer. Her most famous role is being the character Tara Maclay from the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Benson has also directed her films Chance, Lovers Liars & Lunatics and was the leading actress in those films. She also appeared in the film Kiss the Bride. Benson is the son, born on January 8th 1977, of Edward and Diane Benson. Danielle is her older sister, and is an artist. Benson has a father who is Jewish as is her mother Southern Baptist was raised in an Alabama Reform synagogue. In the years since Buffy ended Benson has been in movies including The Killing Jar and on shows such as Morganville The Series. Behind the camera Benson also used her creative talents to develop her own Ghosts of Albion television series. In 2010, she also directed Drones. Buffy has spent the time and effort in locating them, claims that there are more than 1800 Slayers around the world, including 500 who are part of their organization, the Scooby Gang. They are now able to awaken as Slayers when they reach suitable maturation for instance Soledad, the Slayer Soledad was awakened at the age of 16. Ruth Connell will play Rowena in Supernatural Season 10. It seems like she's a cryptic old-fashioned witch.
