Kari Wuhrer was born the 28th of April the 28th of April, 1967. She is an American actor and singer. She began her acting career in her teens. Her best-known character was for her role as Maggie Beckett from the TV show Sliders and also for the role of Sheriff Samantha Parker on the horror film Eight Legged Freaks. She has 3 siblings. When she was a teenager was a nightclub singer, sneaking out of the family home to perform. At the Wooster School, at the age of 13 She began her studies in acting. After that, she studied at the Tisch School of the Arts of New York University, Marymount Manhattan College at Columbia University and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London, with the renowned professor Uta Hagen. Wuhrer was a student. She was born in Brookfield Connecticut on April 28 her birthplace, she was raised there. Her mother works as a payroll accountant and her father is German-American and is a police officer and car salesman. Kari has three brothers and sisters. When she was in her teens, she performed in nightclubs when she would sneak away and take a break. When she was 13 years old, Kari studied acting at the Wooster School. Later, she was enrolled in drama classes at the Tisch School of the Arts in New York University, Columbia University, Marymount Manhattan College; plus, at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art along with the renowned professor Uta Hagen. Kari started acting when she was in her teens, her first break on television coming from the 1987's MTV Remote Control.
